Friends we have become graduates. enna thambi,.... manisekaran style la aramikuren nu bayapadathinga. It was a very nice experience wearing that black robe and getting the first degree of our life. Meeting all our guys again... fantastic
The title of this post has been suttufied from the chief guests speech so I would like to add another famous quote :"when the going gets tough the tough get going". The message given by the chief guest is what we all need to do , to be multifaceted, to be expertised in many fields and not to restrict our vision. If one wants to survive technically he needs to know the technology that drives the world everyday. We should be tough enough to face the odds of life and overcome them, thats where our knowledge and education will help us.
Be unorthodox in approach. think out of the box- thats the mantra to success in todays corporate world, imagine anyone who would do a project to extricate a child from bore wells without digging pits.thinks we think trivial may be the gateways to huge success.
"two roads diverged in an yellow wood.....
then took the other less travelled by
and that has masde all the difference"

Well said, his speech was very inspiring... Inspiring words from Frost I like them a lot too... Nothing but keeping ourselves updated with anything new in our technical world will help us to be recognised above others...

Good one Jeff.... Finally we are graduates ;)
ReplyDeleteHigh five prathy.. We were unknowingly on the same road.. i was also lavishly snoring when the chief guest was delivering his chief mokkai.. sorry guys no offence :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent post jeff.. but a few gaps! This ain't my first experience of a such a ceremony. we had a convocation day for graduating school in malaysia. That was awesome and far better than this. I shall share those pics with you guys.
But yes, meeting our ppl was splendid. For the one last time where we all gathered at the same place without much fuss. I really wonder when something of that sort would ever happen again
