With the IPL ending in grand gala it is now time for India to defend it,s T20 title, with the world cup starting on June 5th,The IPL surely showcasedd many talents. My team for the worldcup T20 is:
1. Gautam Gambhir
2.Virender Sehwag
3. Suresh Raina
4.Yuvraj singh
5.Mahendra Singh Dhoni
6. Rohit Sharma
7.Yusuf Pathan
8.Irfan pathan
9.Harbhajan Singh
10 Zaheer khan
11 R.P Singh
if we need one more spinner pragyan Ohja can be brought in instead of Irfan. As there is much spin in top the order with the likes of Yuvy,Yusuf,Raina,Viru,Rohit there will not be a need for two specialist spinners. With the kind of form these guys are in ,India should be the T20 champs for the second time. Still there is a major flaw in this team.Finisher Jogi is not in the squad. Howzzat!!!

ReplyDeleteOn seeing Gambhir's form i feel that we can sachin in.. its not that sachin is in his greatest of forms.. But u always know that there can be no moral boost like having him open the innings..
But again its a one man perspective.. and this is my vote
Good choice Senthil, but he is refusing to play na, or else surely they would have got him in I guess... Anyway form will come out of nowhere for our legend when World cup is being played, that will hold good for a T20 world cup too I think...

ReplyDeleteIrfan is a better batsman than harbhajan.. So We shud replace bajji for ojha.. rather than Irfan.. and one more change.. U shud bring Yosuf to t top.. well bfore MS.. then it will become an unbeatable team..
